Lenard Sanders purchased his first
camera when he was fourteen and since then, he has combined his
love of
the outdoors and his passion for wilderness photography to produce
outstanding images of British Columbia wildlife, nature and scenic
provincial parks and mountain areas..
Born in Prince George, British Columbia, Lenard spends a great
deal of his life exploring his home province including: back country
skiing in the Rocky Mountains, canoeing the Takla Lake and Bowron
Lake chains, llama trekking in Kakwa Provincial Park, rafting the
Tatshenshini River, kayaking around the Queen Charlotte Islands,
hiking the West Coast Trail, exploring Wells Gray Provincial Park,
horseback riding on the Goat River Trail, discovering the rain forests
of Vancouver Island and Moresby Island and visiting fascinating places
such as Telegraph Creek and Hot Springs Cove.
Lenard has won various competitions for his wilderness and nature
photography including an honourable mention in the 1999 Banff Mountain
Photography
Competition
and his work has been exhibited at the Two Rivers Gallery in Prince
George, BC. Through his photography he is able to share his vision
