 If you are looking for
a writer/photographer team, Brenda Koller and Lenard Sanders have
collaborated on various projects. With years of outdoor experience
between them, they are able to catch the essence of an area both
in words and pictures giving the reader a wonderfully descriptive
and graphic representation of the resort, park or tourist attraction
they are exploring.

Capturing the splendour of Kakwa
Provincial Park combined with the unique adventure of llama trekking
for an article in Beautiful British Columbia Traveller magazine. Photography
for this article was supplied by Lenard Sanders and can be viewed

Llamas in the Kakwa- Spring 2000
It will take us a day and a half to hike into
base camp, on a subalpine meadow at Kakwa Lake's south end. We'll
pitch tents en route at Mount Wishaw before continuing our
trek up through McGregor Pass and over the Continental Divide.
Once in the mountain-ringed camp, we'll have three
days to explore the alpine meadows, to hike to beautiful
Babette and La Glace alpine lakes, and to spot wildlife, everything
from marmots and marten to elk, mountain goats, and grizzlies.

Brenda was asked to research and write an article
regarding business planning for the Interior Trucker and Logger
Magazine.
Building Capacity Through Training - Building for Excellence
in Forestry - Winter 2002
Have you ever had a "sinking" feeling
when the equipment you're operating gets "cemented" in
mud and there's no way you're going anywhere
until someone pulls you out? I had a similar feeling while
trying to complete my business plan: finances, market research,
operations, marketing . . . this was no easy undertaking.
When I finally got tired of getting bogged down, I registered
to attend a Community Futures Development Corporation Entrepreneurial
Development Seminar Series. That's where I met Dan Boudreau.

As the safety co-ordinator and First Aid person for

forest district, Chingee spends her work week in the bush and weekends

with environmental and safety policies. Compliance with laws
